California Residents

The state Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act require that, except under unusual circumstances, collectors may not contact you before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. They may not harass you by using threats of violence or arrest or by using obscene language. California Resident Privacy Act (CPRA):

Federal and state laws prohibit us from disclosing information about your debt to third parties unless as otherwise permitted for the purpose of servicing your account or when required by law. Personal information is collected solely for the purpose of debt recovery and remains part of our records until we determine the information is no longer needed, or as otherwise required by law. We restrict access to nonpublic personally identifiable information about you to those employees determined by us to have a need to know the information. We maintain strict physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information. We do not sell and will not sell your personal information. We do not provide services or products to consumers that would involve consumer pricing.

SRA Associates does not sell or share consumer information with any business or individual for any purpose. Information obtained from consumers is used in our attempts to collect a debt placed from SRA’s clients and that information is only used for that purpose. 

SRA staff are not permitted to collect or share consumer information for any reason that is outside of the purpose of collecting a debt that is owed by a consumer for an account placed with our office. It is a violation of SRA policy for an employee to use consumer information for any reason other than collecting a debt placed with our office.

Privacy Policy Changes

SRA Associates may change this Privacy Notice at any time. Notice of any new or revised Privacy Notice, as well as the location of the new or revised statement, will be posted on the website after the change. It is the obligation of users visiting the website before the change to learn of changes to the Privacy Notice since their last visit.
